The most interesting of these shapes is the natural pool, called 'Stone Pool', which surrounds the rocks and gives the appearance of a pool.
KEFKEN: Kefken is the most economically developed coastal region of the district along the coast. Kefken, which is 20 km away from Kandıra, especially attracts attention with its sea, beach and pine forests. Kefken, which makes its name known with fishing, enchants visitors with different alternatives in forest recreation facilities, recreation areas, Kovanağzı Beach, Kapri Bay, Kefken Harbor and Pink Rocks. The ancient harbor with Pink Rocks is under protection within the scope of archaeological and natural site. Pink Rocks, which were soft when in the sea but became famous for their hardening after they were taken out of the sea, is known for being cut from here in the Ottoman period and being transported to Istanbul by sea by giving a rectangular shape with human power. The natural lake here adds a distinct beauty to the region. Babalı Cave, where survivors of the ship's sinking in the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian wars take shelter, is famous for thousands of visitors and rituals every year. There is no major tourist investment in Babalı. However, there are many motels and pensions to meet the accommodation needs of the visitors.
